The shop is a gameplay element of the game Artifact, present in the Shopping Phase. Players can purchase items which improve heroes, using their earned Gold Icon.png Gold.

Earning Gold[edit]

A player earns 1 Gold Icon.png Gold for killing an enemy creep, and 5 Gold Icon.png Gold for killing an enemy hero.

There are certain cards and interactions (such as Track) that change the gold bounty of units.

Sections[edit]

The shop is divided into three sections, namely three stacks of cards.

Secret shop[edit]

The leftmost card is the secret shop, and it includes expensive and powerful items. All non-consumable items can show up in this deck. The order is randomized each round.

Item deck[edit]

The middle card is your item deck, which was built alongside the draw deck before the game started. The order is randomized each round.

Consumables[edit]

The rightmost card is the consumable shop, which sells single use items, such as

Holding[edit]

If an offered item is too good to let go, but also too expensive to buy right away, the card can be "held" for the cost of 1 Gold Icon.png Gold. This ensures the card will show up the next shopping phase.

Notes[edit]

After a player buys an item from any stack, they are immediately presented with another, allowing them to buy multiple consecutive items in a single Shopping Phase.
